SEA Biometrics
SEA Biometrics LLC is owned by parent companies, Spaceflight Systems Corporation (SSC) and Fast Pattern Recognizer (FPR) Corporation, and is located at the Spaceflight Systems Corporation headquarters in New Hampshire.
SEA Biometrics was created to research and develop useful applications for the Single Engine Adaptive (SEA) generic pattern matching algorithm. One of the greatest strengths of the algorithm is its ability to be easily adapted to operate on a variety of inputs, which includes but is not limited to biometrics.
The SEA Biometrics Matching Algorithm combines the more general Fast Pattern Recognition (FPR) algorithm with a multimodal biometrics fusion algorithm.
- Can be implemented as a single hardware or software engine for all biometric modes
- Readily adapted to new modes
- Results in greatly improved biometrics matching accuracy
SEA Biometrics has demonstrated capabilities for face, fingerprint, voice, palmprint, face in a crowd, and speaker in a crowd. The company is currently studying application of the matching algorithm to image recognition for vessels, vehicles, EO/IR, security camera feeds, luggage and cargo screening.
