EXECUTIVE
SENIOR PRINCIPAL
TECHNICAL STAFF (ESPTS)
Minimum/General
Experience:
Twenty or more years of technical experience in the analysis, planning,
design, development, installation and support and management of complex
integrated systems. Significant experience in program,
financial
and resources management and/or significant experience in all phases of
product development and expertise in embedded systems and
equipment.
Functional
Responsibility:
- Provides corporate level direction (Board of
Directors Responsibilities).
- Provides corporate level responsibilities (e.g. CFO,
CEO, COO roles) impacting all employees.
- Provides corporate level program management of major
tasks. Mentors and supervises the research, development,
design,
installation and testing of integrated systems of personnel, materials
and equipment to ensure conformity to functional specifications and
client requirements.
- Oversees the analysis of contractual commitments,
customer
specifications, design changes and other data to plan and develop
program activities throughout the product life cycle.
- Serves as a critical technical interface across
several
organizational units (including external organizations), resolving
major issues critical to program success.
- Performs special research or technical studies
critical to
analysis or simulation of new technologies. Solves
the most
difficult and unique types of technical problems.
- Utilizes various software programs as required to
track
procurement, budget, quality control and administrative processes and
to prepare corporate reports on contract activities.
- Directly responsible for planning and coordination of
work
activities between the corporation and the customer regarding
structured systems analysis, design, programming and testing of various
integrated systems.
- Responsible for marketing new business and writing
proposals for the company.
- Independently defines and performs complex and
challenging
tasks involving leading-edge technology where little precedent exists.
Minimum Education:
Advanced degree or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 20 years
relevant experience, or Associate degree with at least 30 years
relevant experience in a software or electrical engineering field.
SENIOR PRINCIPAL TECHNICAL STAFF (SPTS)
Minimum/General
Experience:
Eighteen or more years of technical experience in the analysis,
planning, design, development, installation and support and management
of complex integrated systems. Significant experience in
program,
financial and resources management and/or significant experience in all
phases of product development and expertise in embedded systems and
equipment.
Functional
Responsibility:
- Provides senior level program management of major
programs. Mentors and supervises the research, development,
design, installation and testing of integrated systems of personnel,
materials and equipment to ensure conformity to functional
specifications and client requirements.
- May provide middle management
functions/administrative supervisor responsibilities to other employees.
- Oversees the analysis of contractual commitments,
customer
specifications, design changes and other data to plan and develop
program activities throughout the product life cycle.
- Serves as a critical technical interface across
several
organizational units (including external organizations), resolving
major issues critical to program success.
- Determines program milestones and anticipates
problems arising from inadequate resources and other factors.
- Performs special research or technical studies
critical to
analysis or simulation of new technologies. Solves
complex
and unique types of technical problems.

Minimum
Education:
Advanced degree or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 18 years
relevant experience, or Associate degree with at least 25 years
relevant experience in a software or electrical engineering
field.
EXECUTIVE PRINCIPAL TECHNICAL STAFF (EPTS)
Minimum/General Experience:
Fifteen or more years of technical experience in
the
analysis, planning, design, development, installation and support and
management of complex integrated systems. Proficient in
program
financial and resources management and/or proficient in all phases of
product development and acquisition of embedded systems and equipment.
Functional Responsibility:
- Provides team leadership of software development
projects.
- Responsible for the research, development, design,
installation and testing of integrated systems of personnel, materials
and equipment to ensure conformity to functional specifications and
client requirements.
- Strong hardware interface background.
- Oversees the analysis of contractual commitments,
customer
specifications, design changes and other data to plan and develop
program activities throughout the product life cycle.
- Determines support milestones and anticipates
problems arising from inadequate resources and other factors.
- Ensures Software Standards are met
- May perform special research or technical studies
critical
to analysis or simulation of new technologies.
Including
software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to
business/mission problems.
- Utilizes various software programs as required to
track
procurement, budget, quality control and administrative processes and
to prepare progress reports on contract activities.
- Oversees or is directly responsible for planning and
coordination of work activities for technical staff involved in
structured systems analysis, design, programming and testing of various
integrated systems.
- Responsible for writing proposals for the company as
required.
- Assesses strategic technology issues with key
government
customer personnel. Customer focal point for technical

issues.
Minimum
Education:
Advanced degree or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 15 years
relevant experience, or Associate degree with at least 20 years
relevant experience in a software or electrical
engineering field.
PRINCIPAL TECHNICAL STAFF(PTS)
Minimum/General Experience:
Ten or more years of technical experience in the
analysis, planning,
design, development, installation and support and management of
integrated systems. Adept in program financial and resources
management and/or skilled in all phases of product development and
acquisition of embedded systems and equipment.
Functional Responsibility:
- Provides team leadership of software development
tasks.
- Supports the research, development, design,
installation
and testing of integrated systems of personnel, materials and equipment
to ensure conformity to functional specifications and client
requirements.
- Supports the analysis of contractual commitments,
customer
specifications, design changes and other data to plan and develop
program activities throughout the product life cycle.
- Coordinates support milestones and anticipates
problems arising from inadequate resources and other factors.
- Utilizes various software programs as required to

relevant experience, or Associate degree with at least 17 years
relevant experience in a software or electrical engineering
field.
SENIOR TECHNICAL STAFF (STS)
Minimum/General Experience:
Seven to fifteen years of experience in performing all software
development lifecycle activities in support of integrated
systems. Has significant technical experience in providing
end-to-end engineering support for the development, integration and
test of embedded systems and/or GUI software.
Functional Responsibility:
- Provides small team leadership of individual software
development tasks.
- Supports the development, design, installation and
testing
of integrated systems to ensure conformity to functional specifications
and client requirements.
- Supports the analysis of customer specifications,
design
changes and other data to plan and develop program activities
throughout the product life cycle.
- Determines support milestones and anticipates
problems arising from inadequate resources and other factors.
- Utilizes COTS engineering and design software and
equipment to perform engineering tasks.
- Leads team or is directly responsible for planning
and
coordination of work activities involved in structured systems
analysis, design, programming and testing of various integrated
systems.
Minimum Education:
Advanced degree or Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years
relevant experience or Associate degree with at least 15 years relevant
professional experience in a software or electrical engineering
field.
MEMBER OF TECHNICAL STAFF (MTS)
Minimum/General Experience:
One to six years of experience in the analysis, planning, design,
development, installation and support of integrated systems.
Technical experience in the development of embedded systems and/or GUI
software.
Functional Responsibility:
- Provides structured systems analysis, design,
programming and testing of various integrated systems.
- Coordinates the operation, maintenance and testing of
software and systems.
- Generates required documentation both online (GUI
systems) and hard-copy (embedded systems) as required for the developed
product.
- Utilizes various COTS software programs to perform
design, development, test, and configuration management tasks.
- Provides progress reports on contract activities as
required.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year relevant experience or
Associate degree with at least 6 years relevant experience in a
software or electrical engineering field.
ASSOCIATE TECHNICAL STAFF (ATS)
Minimum/General Experience: Zero
to four years of experience in the analysis, planning, design,
development, installation and support of hardware, firmware or
software. Technical experience in the development of embedded
systems and GUI software a plus.
Functional Responsibility:
- Aids in structured systems analysis, design,
programming and testing of various integrated systems.
- Aids in the operation, maintenance and testing of
software and systems.
- Generates required documentation both online (GUI
systems) and hard-copy (embedded systems) as required for the developed
product.
- Utilizes various COTS software programs to perform
design, development, test, and configuration management tasks.
- Provides progress reports on contract activities as
required.
Minimum Education:
This is a non-degreed entry level labor category. Intended
for on
the job training or summer interns.
PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR
Minimum/General Experience:
Practical knowledge of engineering principles. Five years to
seven years of experience in business accounting, financial disciplines
and contract administration (Project Administrator). Five to
seven years of experience in Government security disciplines (Security
Administrator).
Functional Responsibility
(Project Administrator):
- Provides support in administering government
contracts
including; CSFR and CSSR reporting, sub-contract maintenance and
government financial reporting (such as Incurred Cost Submission and
Forward Pricing).
- Responsible for financial reporting and preparation
of
cost proposals and staffing reports for internal management and
customers.
- Directs or is solely responsible for accounting
activities through general ledger and reporting to company
accountants.
- Coordinates Facility Management activities.
- Knowledgeable and capable of providing a Human
Resources function
- Proficient in benefits administration.
Functional Responsibility (Security
Administrator):
- Provides
support
in administering government security requirements including
establishment and updates to company security policies and
procedures. Includes Automated Information Systems and COMSEC
procedures
- Provides
destruction of classified material using approved methods.
- Maintains
visitor and employee access control. Provides
maintenance
of security facility including red phones and secure fax.
- Supports
annual
employee briefings to cleared individuals. Debriefings to
terminating employees, Foreign Travel Briefings, and administers
security-related incidents as required.
- Government
administered Security educational courses and hands-on training in
Security is required.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year relevant experience or
at
least 5 years relevant experience in business administration and
finance (Project Admin) or Government Security regulations (Security
Admin).
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Minimum/General Experience:
Computer skills including familiarity with the following COTS software
products: MS Word, Excel, Access,
PowerPoint.
Experience working with people and has professional communication
skills. One to four years of experience in word
processing
and office/clerical skills (Admin Assistant). One to four
years
of experience in Microsoft operating systems and networking hardware
and protocols. (IT Admin Assistant).
Functional
Responsibility (Admin Assistant):
- Provides reception and secretarial support to the
company.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks COTS software.
- Responsible for the general administration of
employee benefits as well as purchasing.
- Ensures documentation accuracy for DCAA audit items
(time cards, expense reports, receipts) and Government Funded Equipment
Functional
Responsibility (IT Admin Assistant):
- Maintains company server and LAN.
- Performs backups, email/spam and antivirus
monitoring, and software installation.
- Responsible for VPN setup and company Web-Site
maintenance.
- Provides Trouble shooting support for company
computer crashes and errors
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED with at least 2 years relevant
experience. Collegiate level engineering courses and/or
Technical
School training in IT is required for IT Admin Assistant.
